Whether it's walking through the fog filled forests, or heading an hour west to the coast, when we are in the Northwest we are constantly in awe of how beautiful it is. You can’t go wrong with anything that you order here. Take a drive out there and enjoy the pristine wilderness that surrounds this city. It has a fireplace and we brought Aspen along! It was really simple and delicious! Mount Hood - The mountain that you can 50% of the time towering over Portland is Mt. Oh this place is magic! Salt and Straw Ice Cream - This place has ice cream, we think the best in Portland...enough said. We went to London for a late birthday gift for Hunter/we came across some tickets for a good deal and couldn't say no. Tabor Park - East of Portland is Mt. It's full of amazing artisan goods, from candles to clothing. Beam & Anchor - We love this shop. It’s also on a super cool street so just walk around and shop and then when you get hungry go eat here! When we travel, we have you in mind. And its name too! Ace Hotel - You probably already know that you need to check this spot out if you go to Portland, but we’ll just give you a little reminder! It was the perfect spot to stay while we were in Portland! Our Bnb -  This cute little adobe home was the perfect place for us to stay. Cannon Beach - A short 1 1/2 hour drive will take you to the Oregon Coast. They even have a coffee shop inside so go check out all their wonderful items for your home and then go get some work done at the coffee shop connected to it. Portland doesn’t have to try to be something, it just is what it is. Schoolhouse Electric - The perfect place for interior design lovers! Hood. Everywhere you look there is another cool place or yummy spot to eat. Blue Star Donuts - Oh gosh don't even get us started on this place. Por Que No - This place reminded us a little bit of Austin. There will most likely be a wait so make sure you aren't in any hurry! London, England, You have stolen our hearts forever. Grab a coffee at Stumptown and then just sit on the couch and hang out or take pictures in the photo booth. We urge you to escape to a state of ease - not tied to a specific location, but a mentality. Forest Park - In Northwest Portland sits Forest Park, an amazing network of trails that allow you to really enjoy the outdoors  15 minutes from the city.
